Sr Coordinator, R&D Project
Position Overview
Provide general project coordination activities to support R&D projects. This includes coordination of engineering documentation, organizational planning, project management activities, schedules resources, and communication. Job duties:
- Perform extensive project coordination and deliverables. Break projects into manageable actions and set timelines.
- Track component purchasing details, including purchase dates, PO’s, receipt dates, and other related data.
- Monitor and track budget and expenses and related activities.
- Support employee development and engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a point-of-contact to coordinate R&D shipments by managing the shipping logistics and other related duties as required to drive efficiency and effectiveness for R&D.
- Remove roadblocks to support R&D processes.
- Coordinate and document IP submissions and related activities.
- Support R&D with legal contracts/paperwork and related documentation.
- Coordinate organizational planning and communication.
- Organize and maintain R&D project portfolio and documentation.
- Actively identify opportunities for improvement to support the entire R&D department.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of related professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge and extensive experience of MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to learn and grow responsibility.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced math skills.
- 8+ years of related professional experience.
- Project management software experience.
