Our departments

  • The Research and Development Department works on product designs intended to improve patient outcomes, ease of use for physicians, and solve unmet needs in the neurovascular space. R&D works at all stages of products, from blank slate concepts, supporting mature products in the field, and manufacturing. Physician interaction is extensive at all levels of design, such as evaluation, clinical testing, product improvements, and training. The R&D group has daily interaction with all departments, including regulatory, quality, manufacturing, clinical, legal, and outside vendors.

  • The Clinical Research Department ensures that the Physician Community has robust data for therapeutic decision making. Ensuring the safe & effective patient-care is paramount. The team boasts over 40 years of pre & post-market neurovascular clinical research and works every day to progress the depth of clinical information available on Terumo Neuro Products.

    • Responsible for worldwide accounting for Terumo Neuro

    • Tax reporting to TAH Tax department

    • Sales/Use Tax returns

    • Property Tax returns

    • Fixed Assets tracking and tagging

    • HCP reporting (CMS)

    • 1099 reporting, annually

    • Cash collection from Terumo Neuro customers

    • Payment to all Terumo Neuro suppliers

    • Maintenance of ERP system (JDE) for FX rates, journal entries, Chart of Accounts

    • Responsible for semi-annual internal audit by TAH

    • Responsible for quarterly and annual audits by KPMG (external auditor)

    • Responsible for monthly accounting close and financial statement reporting to Terumo Neuro management, TAH and TC

  • The Quality Assurance group implements and supports processes that maintain product quality at a high level. The group ensures that the company meets the requirements of regulations from the FDA and from authorities in other areas. Activities include working with R&D on quality plans for new product development, working with suppliers on component quality, enhancing product quality in manufacturing, quality control inspection, analyzing product complaints, and managing internal and external audits.

  • The Regulatory Affairs Department obtains regulatory approval of Terumo Neuro's products. The team focuses on supporting major markets throughout the world and is responsible for initial approvals, recurring registrations, and recertifications.

  • California Interventional Systems Business [CAIS] is a business unit within Terumo Neuro that develops oncology and peripheral vascular products for Terumo Corporation.

  • The Marketing Department plays a vital role in promoting our business and drives sales of our products. The team provides the necessary research, training, materials, and guidance to support our employees and customers worldwide. 

  • The Operations Team at Terumo Neuro is a fast-paced environment focused on supporting the high growth of the business while solving complex problems daily. Joining this team encompasses working with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and other departments to deliver lifesaving devices to patients around the world. We are directly responsible for the commercialization of the many new products R&D develops to relentlessly improve our quality and performance through continuous improvement activities.

  • The Production Support Quality group manages quality assurance activities for ongoing Terumo Neuro production.  The Production Support Quality group consists of three areas: 1) Quality Engineering for production support, 2) In-process and finished production inspection, and 3) Receiving Inspection.

  • The Human Resources department at Terumo Neuro is a group of professionals dedicated to supporting employees globally to innovate and challenge the status quo. Team members work with our clients to develop talent management strategies, support HR Operations, manage payroll, provide HR analytics, and create unique, department-specific sourcing/recruiting strategies while providing business partner support to diverse client groups.

  • The Information Technology Department provides the structural backbone for Terumo Neuro to run quickly and successfully. The team’s responsibilities are divided into Operations, Enterprise Resource Planning, Applications, and System Enhancements. These activities serve multiple departments and range from infrastructure maintenance, inventory management, day-to-day reporting, and overall system enhancements.

  • Terumo Neuro's Compliance Department provides the organization with the foundational basis to abide by industry codes and laws by implementing tools and guidance that promote and enforce a culture of integrity, honesty, and fairness. Our Compliance Department has established, and maintains, an effective compliance program that detects, prevents, and mitigates risk, that allows our company to follow our obligations to meet all industry codes and laws while selling, promoting, and distributing medical devices for patient’s needs.

  • The Terumo Neuro Legal Department is a Global Legal Team with a Growth Mindset, passionate about the role Legal can play to drive Innovation and enable positive patient outcomes. Team members serve as cross-functional strategic leaders in all areas of the organization and play an important role in M&A and BD opportunities. Through a unified focus and with One Voice, the IP Legal team members advise and lead all IP matters, including mitigating IP risk, and maximizing IP assets, globally.  The Legal Affairs team leads all aspects of counseling and litigation of commercial matters and handles the organizations ordinary course and key transactions, in addition to managing privacy, data protection, and legal operations. Together, the Terumo Neuro Legal Department operates as One Team deeply committed to Talent Development, Organizational & Operational Excellence and Innovation.
