Digital Marketing Specialist
Position Overview
Primarily responsible for partnering with the Corporate Communications Management in designing and implementing the company’s digital media projects and strategies to achieve digital marketing goals. Support internal and external digital media communication tools (including photography, video creation, apps, website, digital signage, intranet, and other software) and implement improvements. Validate the tools used are continuously renewed to reflect our products, company growth and culture. Initiate research and give recommendations to keep all informed of trends to further optimize the work environment. Job duties:
- Provide key participation in the facilitation of key communication and digital projects from estimation through launch and maintenance:
- Participate in providing end-to-end project management, including detailed planning, and monitoring of project process.
- Facilitate collaboration with internal teams to design, develop and implement project plans. Key stages include discovery, scope, planning, production, deployment, and maintenance. Such projects include product 3D modeling/CGI, videos, digital campaigns, Town Hall production, corporate website and microsite development and maintenance, apps, digital signage, internal and external software, and tools (e.g., asset management systems, project management software, and promotional approval software management, etc.)
- Monitor digital tools and analytics, providing direction of how to create actionable items from data to improve content and tools.
- Leverage knowledge and understanding of graphic design, creative and production to facilitate effective communication and project management between vendor and departmental teams.
- Participate in maintenance in the company digital photography studio. Execute photo and video shoots ranging from product photography, in-service product videos, HR culture videos, trade show video interviews, leadership video production for social media and other platforms, headshots, livestreaming etc. Work directly with external vendors for additional photo and video support for projects with greater scope.
- Work with the Corporate Communications department to plan and execute company-wide corporate campaigns and social media strategy and implementation.
- Participate in creating project plans, budgets, timelines, and schedules.
- Create digital assets for global training for the current digital programs utilized worldwide.
- Coordinate and manage digital content creation for websites, sales enablement platforms (if applicable), intranet, digital signage, podcasts, infographics, videos – both internal and external such as trade shows, Congresses, specialist events, Town Hall production, internal and external events, etc.
- Assist with management and cross-functional teams for the daily monitoring and updating of digital content/software (e.g., website, apps, asset management systems, intranet).
- Support and maintain the Digital Media Room as a support service for the company as well as lead internal and external photo and video projects.
- Perform file keeping including organization and updates of back-end systems.
- Develop training materials of digital systems and lead the associate training of those digital systems.
- Coordinate end-to-end digital projects and provide team updates.
- Assist with establishing a web presence to boost brand awareness and maintain website dynamic.
- Ensure consistency of content across all digital platforms and take initiative to implement changes based on the developing needs of the company and all departments.
- Prepare surveys, audits, and reports of databases to ensure user effectiveness and gain feedback.
- Analyze software analytics (website, apps, intranet) and create actionable implementations based on data.
- Develop and monitor ROI and KPIs.
- Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Media, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of digital media experience.
- Medical device industry experience required.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Experience with Adobe Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) or other media editing software. Experience with visual communications.
- Experience with website maintenance and management.
- Strong digital media experience and skills with focus on a high aptitude toward interest in digital media.
- Software design knowledge.
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
- Strong MS Office proficiency with emphasis on digital media software programs available.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple associates and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Experience working effectively and confidently in a team environment.
