Analyst, HRIS (Remote)

Position Overview

The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and compliance of the HRIS system and the HR department. This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists with ensuring data entry/integrity, testing of system changes, training of systems to internal customers, and report writing. The role also supports the compliance of HR forms, PTO, applicant tracking and electronic on boarding and other HR processes as assigned. Job duties:
  • Provide support for HR Systems including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Support configuration of Workday organizations, business processes, and activities (Core HCM, Annual Merit/ Performance Management, Bonus Plans/Annual Bonus Process, Integrations, Onboarding and Time Off/Leave Plans).
  • Prepares, maintains and updates employee data in all HR Systems as needed. Responsible to key changes initiated by HR.
  • Responsible for completion of various required reports including EEO-1 set up and compete annual reporting to the Department of Labor (Applicable to US only).
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries (including PTO, wage, LOA, electronic onboarding, etc.) utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing internal customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Assists in developing written user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients and HR staff on new processes/functionality.
  • Provides day-to-day customer service, triage and system support to existing and new system users in support of timely and accurate data in applicable system(s).
  • Trains internal customers on systems including but not limited to Workday, BrassRing, SharePoint, reporting, etc.
  • Performs set up and audit of various HR data. Accountable for maintaining data integrity for systems.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of employee workflows and data entry into Workday.
  • May support primarily internal staff on small to mid-sized projects
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Salary Range:

$64,000 - $90,000 (Compensation could be higher/lower based on experience, education and skill sets)

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.
    2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Workday.
    3. Three (3) to five (5) years of systems experience related to HR.
    4. One (1) to two (2) years of business analysis and/or project management related experience.
    5. Advanced Excel Skills.

    2. Agile and flexible.
    3. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
    4. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
    5. Experience in medical device industry preferred.
