Sr. Coordinator, Production Training
Position Overview
Maintain database, provide training materials for all production associates, and manage training records in accordance with the Quality System as established by MicroVention. Job duties:
- Prepare training materials and accurately maintain paper and electronic training records per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) requirements.
- Maintain paper and electronic training document files to current requirements as defined by the Quality System.
- Coordinate training between production lines and initiators including set up of Outlook invites, attendance tracking, and follow up on training completions.
- Support production training requests and processing.
- Assist with providing updated released controlled copies for production floor.
- Perform training coordinator system reviews and check for accuracy.
- Generate next level improvement projects including document redlines, routing changes for approvals, and process updates.
- Notify leads/supervisors of expired or upcoming training.
- Assist with training investigations and inquiries.
- Lead and assist with new process, refresher, and onboarding training.
- Utilize department reports to actively support efficient and effective performance.
- Train, lead, and mentor new Training Coordinators.
- Work independently with little direction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of related experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures.
- Ability to work with moderate supervision.
- Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with navigation of computer-based training and delivering instruction-led classroom training.
- Previous experience working in the medical device industry.
- Knowledge of medical device document control requirements and practices.
- Experience leading others and providing direction to team members.
- Experience handling staffing needs, material replenishment, and quality decision making.
- Experience maintaining, updating, and delivering department metrics.
