Associate I, Document Control

Position Overview

Store, manage, and track records and documents. Ensure that documents and records are accurate and maintain their quality and integrity. Enforce organization document retention policies and retrieve documents and records upon request. Archive inactive records and documents. Job duties:
  • Assist in maintaining documents and records to current requirements as defined by the quality system.
  • Process documents for revision and approval.
  • Train and assist associates in the use of document management software.
  • Assist in the formatting of documentation.
  • Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage document processes and systems to ensure control and availability of document to the organization.
  • Generate and maintain documents within business and technical systems and computerized databases (Document Management System).
  • Assist in routing changes.
  • Review all quality records for GDP.
  • Responsible for all offsite storage and retrieval of documents and records.
  • Maintain Design History Files.
  • Review and update Document Control related technical documents.
  • Distribute project-related copies of controlled documents and/or records to internal teams.
  • File documents and records in physical and digital records.
  • Create and maintain controlled document templates.
  • Maintain confidentiality of documents and records.
  • Assist in preparation for audits and quality inspections.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • This position shift is 10:30AM - 7:00PM PST

Salary Range:

$18 - $21/hour (compensation could be higher or lower depending on experience, education, and skillset)

    1. High School graduate or equivalent.
    2. Minimum 1 year in a clerical or records position.
    3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

    2. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
    3. Good interpersonal skills.
    4. Good organization and completion of projects.
    5. Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
