Manager - Sales Operations, Contracts & Pricing

Position Overview

Lead the process of preparation, review, and approval of requests from U.S. customers and field team associates for new pricing and consignment agreements, sales discounts, and changes to existing contract terms and conditions. Lead the development of RFI/RFP responses. Job duties:
  • Direct the activities of a team of analysts, with functional and geographical responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and career development for associates in key commercial support roles.
  • Work closely with U.S. Sales personnel, Sales Analytics, and Legal; act as point person for requests from U.S. field sales and customers to review/approve new customer pricing and consignment agreements, price discounts, and renewal of existing contracts.
  • Coordinate support and business input from Sales, Sales Analytics, and Legal in the development of RFI/RFP responses.
  • Monitor contract compliance with U.S. IDN and group purchasing organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing contracting and pricing processes.
  • Maintain product pricing software tool.
  • Inform U.S. Field Sales and Legal of new fully executed agreements.
  • Communicate approved product prices for new products and changes to pricing for existing products.
  • Support Quality Assurance activities relating to field corrective actions.
  • Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $135,000 (can be higher based on education, experience and skill set)

    1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
    2. A minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience.
    3. A minimum of one (1) year of management responsibility.
    4. Proven and successful leadership, team facilitation, and presentation skills.
    5. Excellent organizational and project coordination ability with acute attention to detail.
    6. Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
    7. Astute comprehension of all business functions.
    8. Extensive knowledge of contracting process and terms/conditions for medical products.
    9. Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Previous medical device industry experience.
    2. SAP experience.
